website templates

Free website templates are a good starting point in designing a website.  Look for templates that are W3C standards compliant and valid (XHTML Strict). Standards compliant sites are easier to modify six months from now when you decide to update the site.  Also it just seems more professional to use the latest technology.

You won't need a website designer, but you might need to educate yourself on  web building with HTML and XHTML and Styling with CSS. A good place to start is the  w3cschools.com web site.
